I'm an editor, author, and publishing professional with years of experience in traditional publishing and editorial coaching. I specialize in speculative fiction, helping authors refine their manuscripts through worldbuilding, tension-building, and cultural sensitivity. My background in the publishing industry includes Sourcebooks editorial training and mentorship, serving as an editor for two traditional publishers, editor at Hugo award-winning FIYAH Literary of Black Speculative Fiction, and editor/coach and mentor for We Need Diverse Books. During my time at WNDB, I shaped the work of amazing authors who went on to publish traditionally, including New York Times Bestselling author, Hayley Dennings. My educational background is in English with a concentration in writing and culture.

Why I Created Conjure & Craft
I created Conjure & Craft because I saw a need for editorial services that are customized, easy to understand, and quick to put into action. Too often, authors are left without the guidance and support they need to navigate the editing journey. I've spoken to authors who had their hopes shattered by editors who didn't have the experience to provide helpful strategies or suggestions .

With a focused set of offerings, I’ve chosen to specialize in the types of stories I know best—fantasy, horror, and gothic fiction—so I can bring both expertise and passion to every project.
